Vanilla Ice Cream

This is a basic recipe which is easy to modify with a bit of imagination. 

If you have a great HFLC ice cream please share it.

1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
4 large Egg White
1/2 tsp  Stevia  (or xylitol to taste if you tolerate it)
egg yolk
1 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1/5 tsp Salt

Beat yolks with stevia (or xylitol to taste), salt, and add 1/2 c of the cream. Heat on stove gently or in microwave just to hot but not boiling. Add vanilla and allow to cool in refrigerator.
Beat egg whites until just soft peaks, add dash of salt, then add the cooled egg yolk mixture, and remaining 1 cup of cream.

Pour into ice cream freezer, and follow your freezer directions.
